In 2024, Dance Reflections by Van Cleef & Arpels is supporting the 17th Lyon Contemporary Art Biennale.

The Lyon Contemporary Art Biennale will be held from September 21, 2025 to January 5, 2025. A major exhibition of contemporary art in France and in the world, the Contemporary Art Biennale brings together artistic projects inspired by local and historical sites and stories in emblematic venues in Lyon and the surrounding region.

Entitled "Les voix des fleuves Crossing the water," the 17th edition of the Lyon Biennale, under the curatorship of Alexia Fabre, invites artists to offer their interpretations of human relationships and welcoming otherness, of what binds and unbinds us, separates us and brings us together. The exhibition is designed for children aged three and above and accessible to all, offering a wide range of visitor resources, guided tours and hands-on workshops that provide spaces for interacting and sharing at the heart of the works.

"A partner of Maison de la Danse and the Dance Biennale, Dance Reflections by Van Cleef & Arpels maintains its commitment to Lyon's cultural and artistic scene in 2024. The program's support of the 17th Lyon Contemporary Art Biennale affirms its interest in all artistic disciplines and its desire to encourage their exchange. Dance Reflections continues the dialogue between the visual arts and dance following in the footsteps of twentieth-century artistic creation. The exhibition, I felt the stars in that room, which launched in 2023 at the Centre national de la danse in Pantin, was an opportunity to highlight the fruitful links between photography and contemporary dance. The American photographer Olivia Bee's vision of previous editions of the Dance Reflections Festival by Van Cleef & Arpels resulted in images that capture the beauty and instantaneity of choreographic movement. We look forward to future collaborations with our partners in the world of dance, encouraged by this support for the Lyon Biennale."
