In 2026, Dance Reflections by Van Cleef & Arpels is supporting several international partners for the presentation of Le Pas du Monde by the Collectif XY, after having supported its creation in 2025.

For almost 20 years, the Collectif XY has been exploring acrobatic disciplines, placing them at the heart of an artistic practice integral to the field of the movement arts. Based on the fundamentals of this circus technique, the artists play with its conventions, rhythms and shapes to create a language that spans 360 degrees.
Since its inception, XY has chosen to work in large numbers to multiply possibilities and broaden its fields of research. This choice also reflects an artistic approach that examines the concepts of masses and crowds, and their interactions in the same space and time. Further, this method considers the relationship between the individual and a group, or a given social enivonment.
With this in mind, the founding artists set out to create a collective, sharing their savoir-faire and ideas, adopting a collaborative structure and adhering to a non-hierarchical system. The organization of work and the creative process are thus an essential component of the artistic forms produced.
Against this backdrop, the Collectif has turned its attention to the public, creating large-scale works for theater, public spaces and any venue that can accomodate both front-facing and circular performances.
