In 2025, Dance Reflections is supporting the South African Dance company Via Katlehong and the Brazilian choreographer Paulo Azevedo for the creation of tamUjUntU.

Founded in 1992, the Via Katlehong Dance company, led by Buru Mohlabane and Steven Falen, takes its name from the Katlehong township in East Rand, one of the marginalized neighborhoods that gave birth to the defiant pantsula subculture. Grounded in a strong sense of community, Via Katlehong pursues educational, cultural and social initiatives for the benefit of South African youth.

The company has received multiple international awards for its innovative creations combining pantsula and other local South African dances, such as gumboot, tap dance and step. These dances are performed together with shared rhythm and energy.
Through shouting, whistling, stomping and clapping, audiences take part in this fiercely passionate celebration of life.
