In 2026, Dance Reflection by Van Cleef & Arpels continues to pursue its commitment to transmission and education and is organizing, in collaboration with the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts, a workshop around the work of Thomas Hauert, led by Samantha van Wissen and Mat Voorter.
After training at the Rotterdam Dance Academy, Samantha van Wissen began her career as a dancer in 1991 with Anne Teresa De Keersmaeker's company Rosas in Brussels. She has worked on a number of works and repertory pieces, including Rosas danst Rosas, Mikrokosmos, Achterland, Erts, Mozart Concert Arias. She continues to work freelance with Rosas and in 2017 took part in the opera Cosi Fan Tutte (Opéra de Paris production) and the Six Concerts de Branderburg. She is one of the five founding members of ZOO and has collaborated on Cows in Space, Pop-up Songbook, Jetzt, 5, Verosimile, Walking Oscar, Puzzled, Accords, You've Changed, Mono, How to proceed, If Only and Efeu. As well as dancing, she has also taken part in a number of theatre productions, including Les trois sœurs and Droesem by Inne Goris. In 2021, she collaborated with François Gremaud, 2b compagnie, on the performance Giselle.
Samantha van Wissen gives classes and workshops at the Cultureel Centrum De Westrand, P.A.R.T.S, the Impulstanz festival and the AP Hogeschool in Antwerp. She also gives yoga classes and is a certified Iyengar yoga teacher.
