Némo Flouret
In 2025, Dance Reflections by Van Cleef & Arpels is presenting an in-situ version of 900 Satellites by Némo Flouret in Tai Kwun as part of the event Spring is Blooming in Hong Kong organize by Van Cleef & Arpels.
900 Satellites is a choreographic and performative extension of the group piece 900 Something Days Spent in the XXth Century by Némo Flouret. 900 Satellites is an “aside” to this project, designed to generate and extract mini-versions of the original piece's source toolbox. Like a collection of ideas in permanent mutation, these fragmentations allow for the infinite renewal of these dances and their mutation for each location invested.
For this event, 6 dancers take over the public space of Tai Kwun to create, amid the noise of the city, a choreography stripped bare, devoid of all artifice, with the sole attribute of movement and expenditure to bring this dance outburst into existence temporarily, as quickly as a flash.
