Orage

After having created Au cœur in 2021, Figures in 2022 and Rive in 2023, Dalila Belaza imagines a minimalist gathering where dance and music come together both as an expression and a natural manifestation of human existence, in her 2025 presentation of Orage, a new duet with guitarist Serge Teyssot Gay. In this piece, Dalila Belaza adopts vibration and tension as writing principles. These sensations flow through the body and echo beyond it, free from the effects of theatricalized emotion. Entering a state of combined tension and vibration, the body is plunged into an experience that constantly re-figures the contours of the shapes and sounds that appear. The body is put into orbit and, upon encountering the trajectory of sound, creates a symphonic phenomenon.
