Since 2024, Dance Reflections by Van Cleef & Arpels supports the Watermill Center for its entire artistic program, choreographic residencies and the institution’s annual gala for three years.
Founded in 1992 by avant-garde visionary Robert Wilson, The Watermill Center is an interdisciplinary laboratory for the arts and humanities situated on ten acres of Shinnecock ancestral territory on Long Island’s East End.
With an emphasis on creativity and collaboration, Watermill offers year-round artist residencies and education programs, providing a global community with the time, space, and freedom to create and inspire. Thirty years after its fouding, The Watermill Center remains committed to looking to the past to create the art of today. The Watermill Center provides space for artistic production and cultural exchange where diverse communities across generations can explore ideas, create and collaborate.
This institution is committed to diversity and accessibility throughout all programs. By placing artists and their work at the center of its activity, the Watermill Center serves as a key moment in an artist’s creative development and as a global leader among experimental and interdisciplinary art.
