Festival in Sydney
In 2027, Dance Reflections by Van Cleef & Arpels™ is organizing a series of dance workshops as part of its Festival in Sydney.
This first edition of the Festival in Sydney provides an opportunity to reaffirm Dance Reflections’ commitment to the values of transmission and education.
Workshops, which have enriched each previous edition, are at the core of this choreographic event. On this occasion, a single venue, the Sydney Dance Company, will temporarily become
the site of more than 15 workshops over the course of several weeks.
Open to everyone—professionals, dance students, amateurs and children—these workshops offer a lively and immersive look into the world of contemporary dance. During these moments, choreographers and performers become educators, sharing their artistic vocabulary—movements, techniques and excerpts from their repertoires—with participants.
Each of these educational sessions aims both to foster exchanges between the dance community and the audience. They also intend to allow the latter to understand this universe through first-hand experience.
