In 2024, Dance Reflections by Van Cleef & Arpels is supporting L'Alliance New York for the presentation of Mothering the Tongue by Adam Linder.
Adam Linder is a choreographer working in Los Angeles and Berlin. In a form of an exhibition or a film - or on stage, his work embraces the variety of performing arts: dance, text, sound, scenography and costumes. His recent solo shows have been presented at the Museum of Modern Art, New York (2020); South London Gallery, London (2018) and Kunsthalle Basel, Basel, Switzerland (2017). In 2018, the CCA Wattis Institute for Contemporary Arts in San Francisco devoted him a retrospective exhibition FULL SERVICE, which traveled to MUDAM, the Contemporary Art Museum of Luxembourg, in 2019. Adam Linder’s stage works have been presented at HAU Hebbel am Ufer in Berlin; Kampnagel, Hamburg; REDCAT/CalArts Theater, Los Angeles; Sadler’s Wells, London, among others. Adam Linder received the Mohn Award for artistic excellence during the 2016 Made in LA Biennial at Hammer Museum, Los Angeles.
