In 2021, Dance Reflections by Van Cleef & Arpels is supporting Opéra de Lyon Ballet in creating Pierre Pontvianne’s Koha, a solo piece interpreted by Alvaro Dule as part of the Danser Encore project (2020-2023).

Winner of the 1999 Prix de Lausanne, Pierre Pontvianne works with international dance troupes and contributes to a number of alternative choreographic projects throughout Europe. He founded his Compagnie PARC in Saint-Étienne in 2004.

Since 2012, his work has been performed at many international festivals (Biennale de la Danse de Lyon, June Events Paris, Les Brigitines Brussels, Antigel Geneva, Rencontres Chorégraphiques Internationales de Seine Saint-Denis, etc.) as well as in major contemporary creation venues (Maison de la Danse de Lyon, Théâtre de la Ville de Paris, Comédie de Saint-Étienne, etc.).

He composed Kernal, commissioned by the Festival de Danse de Cannes, between 2021 and 2022, and is currently working on two creations for Opéra Nationale de Lyon Ballet: the performance piece BEASTS and the solo Koha.
