Xie Xin

Before founding her own dance company, Xie Xin performed with the Guangdong Modern Dance Company, Shanghai Jinxing Dance Theatre, Beijing Tao Dance Theater and Beijing Dance/LDTX. She has also performed for Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui. 

Her choreographic works have won numerous awards in China and abroad, such as the Choreography Silver Award and the Best Performance Award at the 2nd Beijing International Ballet & Choreography Competition in 2013, as well as the Silver Award and the Audience Award at the 29th International Choreographic Competition Hannover in Germany in 2015. 

Xie Xin’s approach centers on a choreographic language in which every movement seeks to convey emotion with the utmost precision. An emerging artist on the international choreographic scene, she is quickly becoming one of its leading figures.
