In 2024, Dance Reflections by Van Cleef & Arpels is supporting the Düsseldorfer Schauspielhaus for the creation of Moby Dick by Robert Wilson.
The Düsseldorfer Schauspielhaus is one of the largest public theaters in Germany. It plays a repertoire that changes daily in three locations and on a total of six stages. With a permanent ensemble of 40-some actors, it produces around 25 premieres a year.
The artistic spectrum ranges from the classics of spoken theater to contemporary material and theatrical forms to participatory works. Since the start of Wilfried Schulz's artistic directorship in the 2016-2017 season, the Düsseldorfer Schauspielhaus has been deliberately opening up to urban society. It sees itself as a cultural center of the city where people from all generations, social classes and communities come together to exchange. With mobile productions, site-specific works and a variety of interactive formats and projects, the Düsseldorfer Schauspielhaus seeks contact and collaboration with as many people in the city as possible. Through more than 900 performances and events, the institution reaches around 250,000 visitors per season.
