As an opening for its Festival, Dance Reflections by Van Cleef & Arpels presents, with KYOTOGRAPHIE, a collection of works by American photographer Olivia Bee. From October 4th to November 16th, 2024, the I felt the stars in that room. exhibition is taking place in Kyoto.
KYOTOGRAPHIE is an annual international photography festival held in Kyoto, Japan, renowned for its unique celebration of visual storytelling. Established in 2013, it has garnered international recognition for its dedication to presenting a diverse array of perspectives and narratives.
KYOTOGRAPHIE transforms venues such as traditional machiya houses, temples, and museums with innovative scenography to provide an immersive setting for viewers to engage with emerging and established photographers.
The festival collaborates with numerous craftspeople and designers to realize striking installations within the exhibitions.
As an active platform for photographers, KYOTOGRAPHIE provides opportunities for portfolio reviews, masterclasses,
and awards, supporting photographers in gaining exposure through exhibitions and international residencies.
