In 2021, Dance Reflections by Van Cleef & Arpels is supporting Sadler’s Wells for its production of Neighbours, a duet created and performed by Rauf “RubberLegz” Yasit and Brigel Gjoka, in collaboration with William Forsythe.
Founded in London in 1683, Sadler’s Wells is an institution dedicated to the choreographic arts. Since 2005, the theatre has fostered creation of new choreographic works and participated in co-production and broadcasting projects in collaboration with dance troupes and international partners, as well as with in-house artists, including: Russell Maliphant and Sylvie Guillem, Crystal Pite, Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui, William Forsythe, et alii.
Sadler’s Wells plays a central role in the development of dance, staging innovative and inspirational performances for an international audience. Over the past 15 years, the institution has created 56 productions and performed for more than 2 million people around the globe.
2020 saw the worldwide premiere of four major new productions: Message In A Bottle, co-produced with Universal Music UK, based on music by Sting and featuring choreography by Kate Prince; Enter Achilles by Lloyd Newson, co-produced with Rambert Dance Company; and The Rite of Spring/Common Ground[s], in partnership with the Pina Bausch Foundation and École des Sables (Senegal).
