In 2026, Dance Reflections by Van Cleef & Arpels is supporting the Festival d'Avignon for the presentation of 1 Degree Celsius by Sung Im Her as part of the 80th edition.
How can art spark action in the face of climate crisis? Sung Im Her | Her Project invites us to reflect on the ongoing environmental emergency in her new production 1 Degree Celsius. Featuring seven dancers, it merges electrifying movement style with pulsating music and dynamic plays of light, the latter being essential components of the piece. The musical score has been created using data collected from rising atmospheric temperatures, and the lighting design is coordinated with the ever-increasing warmth of the earth.
