In 2026, Dance Reflections by Van Cleef & Arpels Festival presents BIPED by Merce Cunningham and Mycelium by Christos Papadopoulos with the Lyon Opera Ballet, in collaboration with New York City Center.
The prestigious Lyon Opera Ballet performs two different choreographies at New York City Center.
BIPED by the great Merce Cunningham (1999)—widely considered the father of contemporary dance—is a pioneering dialogue between dance and technology to music by Gavin Bryars.
Inspired by the natural world, Christos Papadopoulos’ Mycelium immerses us in a sensory experience of hypnotic sounds and movements.

In 2026, Dance Reflections by Van Cleef & Arpels Festival presents Mycelium by Christos Papadopoulos with the Lyon Opera Ballet in collaboration with New York City Center. Following its support for the creation of Christos Papadopoulos's My Fierce Ignorant Step, Dance Reflections by Van Cleef & Arpels is also supporting its presentation in several venues and festivals.

In 2026, Dance Reflections by Van Cleef & Arpels Festival presents BIPED by Merce Cunningham with the Lyon Opera Ballet in collaboration with New York City Center as well as Travelogue as part of Dancing with Bob, a program by the Trisha Brown Dance Company in collaboration with Brooklyn Academy of Music.

In 2026, Dance Reflections by Van Cleef & Arpels will support the New York City Center in presenting Boléro and The Firebird during an evening "Artists at the Center" featuring Hugo Marchand, Paris Opera Ballet Etoile, alongside the Béjart Ballet Lausanne.
Lyon Opera Ballet
In 2026, Dance Reflections by Van Cleef & Arpels is supporting the Lyon Opera Ballet for the creation of Before the storm, a program presenting Actus... by Lucinda Childs, The Grey Area by David Dawson and Enemy in the Figure by William Forsythe. Dance Reflections is also supporting the creation of Alessandro Sciarroni, HØPE, and Le Sacre du Printemps by Mats Ek in Septembre 2026.
