In 2026, Dance Reflections by Van Cleef & Arpels is supporting the Romaeuropa festival for the presentation of Landless by Christos Papadopoulos.

The creation by Greek choreographer Christos Papadopoulos, a solo performed by Georgios Kotsifakis, seeks to explore unknown territories by consciously embracing the loss of the sense of security that acquired knowledge provides—territories which, though unfamiliar, are rooted in his own questions and personal research.

Over the years, Papadopoulos’s work has approached movement as a hidden secret, focusing on its elementary and everyday qualities. Through in-depth research, he immerses both his own gaze and that of the audience in movement, with the aim of uncovering the point at which it reveals its fascination and freedom.

In this new work, the choreographer returns to the study of the body as an unknown territory, drawing on modern and postmodern architecture to construct a new perspective on its fundamental functions. Can the body be perceived as a space and treated as such? Is it possible to reinvent its coordination in the way architecture frames space, creating a new, idiosyncratic logic? How can we build a way of moving through space that is at once artificial and organic?
