In 2026, Dance Reflections by Van Cleef & Arpels Festival presents Maldonne by Leïla Ka in collaboration with New York Live Arts.
Five female dancers perform in 40 different dresses— from cocktail, wedding and everyday dresses to nightgowns and ball gowns. Garments that fly, shine, burst, spin, trail on the ground or fall. Maldonne is an evocative piece that explores the fragility, rebellion and multifacetedness co-existing within womanhood.
Leïla Ka’s earliest three works—Pode ser, You’re the one we love and Bouffées—are solo or duet dances which received international acclaim and won several awards.
Maldonne, her first group piece, was nominated for the International Dance Prize 2025 at Sadler’s Wells in London and has been performed more than 100 times. The show premieres in the USA at the Dance Reflections Festival.

In 2026, Dance Reflections by Van Cleef & Arpels Festival presents Maldonne by Leïla Ka in collaboration with New York Live Arts and a revival of You're the one we love by Leïla Ka performed by the Choreographic Ensemble of the Paris National Conservatoire in collaboration with L'Alliance New York.
