TiNTiY
Sung Im Her | Her Project
In 2026, Dance Reflections by Van Cleef & Arpels is supporting Chaillot - Théâtre national de la Danse for the presentation of TiNTiY by Sung Im Her.
Tomorrowisnowtodayisyesterday (TiNTiY) looks at the impact of (social) media on society as it focuses on oversharing, over-saturation and the bombardment of information. Accompanied by a club-like soundtrack, three dancers perform overly produced gestures, reflecting the physiological effects of the blurring of individual and collective identities on the physical body.
Playing with the use of memes, skits and “entertaining content” shared on social media platforms, we witness the darker undertones and realities behind the façade. TiNTiY reflects the multitude of opinions, alternative truths, conspiracy theories and “information” that help create confusion, anxiety and perpetuate unease and precarity faced in society.
