In 2026, Dance Reflections by Van Cleef & Arpels is organizing, in collaboration with the Joyce Theater's New York Center for Creativity & Dance, the workshop Trisha Brown Discovery taught by Cecily Campbell and Jamie Scott as part of the Dance Reflections by Van Cleef & Arpels Festival in New York.
Line up, stay on the edge, appear and disappear, keep it simple, and follow your instincts.
In this class, participants will explore the five instructions from Trisha Brown’s Set and Reset through movement, imagination, and play. Channeling Trisha’s spirit, participants will dance right at the edge between choreography and games, discovering when to be seen, when to disappear, and when to jump back in.
The workshop is taught by Cecily Campbell and Jamie Scott (Trisha Brown Dance Company).
