In 2026, Dance Reflections by Van Cleef & Arpels is organizing, in collaboration with the Joyce Theater's New York Center for Creativity & Dance, the workshop Trisha Brown repertory taught by Jennifer Payán (Trisha Brown Dance Company) as part of the Dance Reflections by Van Cleef & Arpels Festival in New York.
Led by a dancer from the Trisha Brown Dance Company, this technique class engages dancers in the physical principles of Trisha Brown’s work through Set and Reset. Emphasizing alignment, clarity, and kinetic ease, the class works with phrase material drawn from the piece to establish a shared movement language that supports improvisation, decision-making in real time, and the continual sharpening of precision and instinct.
The workshop is taught by Jennifer Payán (Trisha Brown Dance Company).
