Hagay Dreaming
In 2025, Dance Reflections by Van Cleef & Arpels organizes in collaboration with Tate Modern the workshop Xchange Movement taught by Hagay Dreaming team as part of its Festival in London.
Artists and performers from Hagay Dreaming lead an open-to-all movement workshop.
Join members of the cast for a workshop to connect with indigenous Truku tribe legends and cosmologies through the body in movement.
The workshop takes a central scene from Hagay Dreaming as a starting point, in which members of the Truku tribe move fluidly between genders. Teaching its movements and choreography, they introduce the ancestral Gaya living principle, which outlines that all living creatures are connected and non-binary, in motion.
No dance experience is required – everyone can join in.
