Jean-Guihen Queyras is a founding member of the Arcanto Quartet and forms a famous trio with Isabelle Faust and Alexander Melnikov. Queyras is regularly invited by renowned orchestras like the Philadelphia Orchestra, the Bavarian Radio Symphony Orchestra, and many others. He has performed under the direction of conductors like Ivan Fischer, Philippe Herreweghe, Yannick Nézet-Séguin and Herbert Blomstedt. 

Queyras has recorded concertos by Elgar, Dvorak, Schoeller and Amy. His latest recording, THRACE - Sunday Morning Sessions, was released in summer 2016.  

In addition to being a concert performer and a recording artist, Jean-Guihen Queyras is a professor at the University of Music Freiburg and Artistic Director of the Rencontres Musicales de Haute-Provence festival in Forcalquier.
