Violence's Detour

In 2021, Dance Reflections by Van Cleef & Arpels is supporting Lyon Opera Ballet to create Adam Linder’s Violence’s Detour, a film of a solo piece interpreted by Samuel Pereira as part of the Danser Encore project (2020-2023).
In Linder’s second film, Violence’s Detour, the performer Samuel Pereira is methodically witnessed by a French actor and a doctor, Jacques Samani. The dance that unfolds is part-service and part-ritual, in which the entanglements of memory and desire occur between these two people of different generations.
