In 2025, Dance Reflections by Van Cleef & Arpels is supporting the Ballet national de Marseille - direction (LA)HORDE, in the creation of Deep Stream, a performance from Age of Content, presented at the Louvre to close the exhibition Figures of the fool. From the Middle Ages to the Romantics

The Musée du Louvre invites the public to an exceptional evening event for the closing of the Figures of the fool. From the Middle Ages to the Romantics exhibition, on until February 3, 2025 in the Hall Napoléon.

On this occasion, the Ballet national de Marseille, direction (LA)HORDE, takes over the Cours Marly and Puget for an original two-hour non-stop performance, Deep Stream. Thirty dancers from the Ballet national de Marseille perform choreographic excerpts from their latest creation, Age of Content : GTA (inspired by the video game Grand Theft Auto: Vice City), Mouths Fists and Weather is Sweet. Deep Stream explores the digitalization of bodies in the age of virtuality and multiverses.

The marble statues of the Cour Marly and Cour Puget act as anachronistic mirrors for the performers 2.0: other bodies with which they will collide.

The proximity of the dancers provides the audience with a new appreciation of the technicality of their movements as visitors can wander around them during the show.

The Ballet national de Marseille accompanies this performance with a livestream on the social networks of the Louvre, (LA)HORDE and the BNM. Deep Stream is also broadcast in real time on a giant screen in the Cour Marly. The gestures are based on avatar trends that have gone viral. They take on a new life in one of the world’s most prominent museums.
