Emmanuelle Huynh

Emmanuelle Huynh is a dancer, choreographer and teacher. Her work explores relationships with literature, music, light and architecture. Her works include Múa (1995), A Vida Enorme (2002), Cribles (2009), TÔZAI!... (2014), Nuée (2021), Kraanerg (2022), Embrasser un arbre, embrasser le temps (2022), as well as sensitive, filmed and danced portraits of the cities of New York (2016), Saint-Nazaire (2019), Houston (2023) and São Paulo (2024) with visual artist Jocelyn Cottencin. From 2004 to 2012, she directed the CNDC in Angers, and since 2016, she has been Head of Atelier at the Beaux-Arts in Paris. From 2018 to 2021, she is an associate artist at Théâtre de Nîmes scène conventionnée d’intérêt national – art et création – danse contemporaine. Emmanuelle Huynh's work is supported by Plateforme Múa, a company recognized by the DRAC Pays de la Loire - Ministère de la Culture et de la Communication, the Département de Loire-Atlantique and the city of Saint-Nazaire.
