Those episodes are devoted to artists who performed as part of the Festival in London. This episode is a conversation between Carolyn Lucas and Noé Soulier.
Carolyn is the associate artistic director of the Trisha Brown Dance Company based in New York, and Noé is a choreographer and the director of the national Center for Contemporary Dance in Angers, France. We will hear them discuss the intricate relashionship between structure and spontaneity in performance. They Reflect on the use of external physical forces in dance, the evolution of dance techniques and Carolyn shares her experience of preserving the legacy of Trisha Brown's work.
