In 2024, Dance Reflections by Van Cleef & Arpels is supporting the presentation of REVERBERATIONS - ETUDE 8 by Aina Alegre as part of Les Inaccoutumés Festival.
Réverbérations is the study of a duel between a body and a drum set. It is also an encounter with several women drummers from different cultural and musical backgrounds. Through a collection of stories about their relationships with music, the instrument and the craft, Aina Alegre creates a new drumming fiction. Their words and descriptions are absorbed and transported into the terrain of performance. Constructing a physical and sonic experience, Alegre subverts the notion of "beating." Blurring the lines between the dancer's body and the drummer's body, the piece uses live sound, light and movement to create an interactive performance that prompts different relationships to percussion, endurance and reverberation. Exchange, transmission and speech are the driving forces behind these choreographic fictions and practices.

En 2024, Dance Reflections by Van Cleef & Arpels soutient la présentation de Réverbérations - Etude 8 de Aina Alegre dans le cadre du festival Les Inaccoutumés 2024.
Aina Alegre est chorégraphe, danseuse et performeuse, son travail s’articule autour de l’exploration du corps dans des environnements plastiques. Influencée par la fiction, le rythme et la musique, elle s’intéresse particulièrement aux notions de mémoire et d’anthropologie du geste. Après une formation artistique pluridisciplinaire à Barcelone, elle rejoint le CNDC d’Angers en 2007 puis fonde sa compagnie. À partir de 2018, elle développe son projet de recherche et de performances à travers le cycle ÉTUDES avec lequel elle collecte des récits et des danses autour des pratiques liées à la gestuelle du martèlement et de la frappe. Depuis 2023, elle est co-directrice du Centre chorégraphique national de Grenoble aux côtés de Yannick Hugron.
