Mystery Sonatas / for Rosa by Rosas on tour

Anne Teresa De Keersmaeker’s choreographic practice is very often based on formal principals of geometry and mathematical models. After her creation in 2020 Drumming Live inspired by rhytmic rotations, the choreographer’s newest work Mystery Sonatas / for Rosa is exploring the special figure of rose, a symbol with rich and long history in literature and in art.
Anne Teresa De Keersmaeker’s creation Mystery Sonatas / for Rosa, a choreographic research of roses’ secrecy and mystery to unfold with the symphonic sounds of Heinric Ignaz Franz Bieber, has premiered in Brygges, Belgium the 16th of February 2022. The creation opening singular perspectives of the body, space and time will be presented equally in London during the Dance Reflections by Van Cleef & Arpels Festival at Sadler's Wells the 12th and 13th of April in 2022.

In 2021, Dance Reflections by Van Cleef & Arpels is supporting Anne Teresa De Keersmaeker for her creation Mystery Sonatas / for Rosa. The presentation of the creation is in collaboration with Sadler’s Wells.
