Festival d'Automne à Paris
In 2024, Dance Reflections by Van Cleef & Arpels is renewing its support for the Paris Festival d’Automne in the creation and presentation of 10 artistic works. A major sponsor since 2020, Dance Reflections is also engaged alongside the Festival in its social action in the city of Paris and the Île-de-France region.
Since 1972, the Festival d’Automne has supported artists by producing and releasing their works, guided by its focus on loyalty, openness, and discovery. As a multidisciplinary and international stage, the Festival is a major catalyst for artistic creation both in France and the rest of the world, proposing over 80 events across 60 areas in Paris and the rest of Île-de-France every year. It ultimately brings together close to 250,000 people from September to December.
For its 2024 season, the Festival promises original artistic collaborations, numerous world premieres, eclectic courses that bring together French and international artists, as well as two large portraits dedicated to the Lebanese directors Lina Majdalanie and Rabih Mroué, and the Italian composer Clara Iannotta. Choreographic creation will yet again be central to this edition with invitations, both new and recurring, made to choreographers such as Anne Teresa De Keersmaeker, Mathilde Monnier, Alessandro Sciarroni, Nacera Belaza, Jan Martens, Marlene Monteiro Freitas, Radouan Mriziga, Soa Ratsifandrihana, Myriam Gourfink, and Katerina Andreou. This is made possible through the support of Dance Reflections by Van Cleef & Arpels.
This season, the Festival d’Automne will strengthen its community engagement, especially by providing students and younger audiences with more accessible prices. Tailored courses, meetings, and art workshops are also specially designed for Public Assistance – Hospitals of Paris (AP-HP) caregivers and patients as well as for associations engaged in social advocacy.
