In 2026, Dance Reflections by Van Cleef & Arpels is organizing, in collaboration with the Joyce Theater's New York Center for Creativity & Dance, the workshop Jan Martens' Work taught by Dan Musset (Jan Martens's dancer) as part of its Dance Reflections by Van Cleef & Arpels Festival in New York.
This workshop explores the themes and choreography of THE DOG DAYS ARE OVER - Jan Martens’ dance piece - using a specific language of constant small jumps and hops. Participants will learn key phrases and create their own movement material. This fun, physical workout will focus on stamina, body efficiency, precision, coordination, rhythm, and group communication.
The workshop is taught by Dan Mussett (Jan Martens's dancer).
